Heavy Highway Construction SurveyorFind out exactly what skills, experience, and qualifications you will need to succeed in this role before applying below.Department: EngineeringReports To: VP EngineeringStatus: Non - ExemptResponsibilities:ï‚· Read and interpret blueprints and specificationsï‚· Layout of curbs, structures, drainage, basins, utilities and edge of pavements, including gradecalculationsï‚· Assist with gathering as-built (record survey) data when requiredï‚· Conduct existing condition surveysï‚· Resolve technical problems and assist with training field employees on GPS equipmentï‚· Establish GPS Control / calibrations for field operationsï‚· Setup and maintain GPS equipment for field operations, including machine controlsï‚· Work closely with Riegler field and office personnelQualifications:ï‚· 3 years + experience jobsite layout stakingï‚· Associates degree (preferred) related to surveyingï‚· Proficiency in reading blueprints and specificationsï‚· Experience using GPS and robotic surveying technologies, methods, and softwareï‚· Proficiency with Trimble (preferred) construction layout software and equipmentï‚· Ability to work 5-6 days a week, 8-12 hours a dayBenefits:ï‚· Competitive weekly payï‚· Medical, Vision, Dental insuranceï‚· 401K and 4% company matchï‚· Annual bonus potentialï‚· Two weeks paid vacation + week of Christmas offï‚· Paid holidaysï‚· Paid training
