Role : Production Support Specialist Location : Atlanta, GAMode : Full TimePlease read the following job description thoroughly to ensure you are the right fit for this role before applying.ResponsibilitiesIn this Production Support development role, you will be supporting and troubleshooting client-reported production defects for a variety of web and desktop application platforms serving the financial services industry. Primary support activities will require analyzing and resolving issues in existing Angular, CSS, and HTML code. Additional responsibilities will include developing and supporting interfaces, extracts and reports written in Progress OpenEdge and Microsoft Access. This role will involve working with client users, business analysts, and software engineers to develop solutions for both support requests and enhancements to existing applications.Required QualificationsAt least 2-5 years of relevant work experience in the given job descriptionAbility to review code written by other developers and addressing complex issuesExperience with Angular, AngularJS or any other JavaScript frameworkExperience with SQL Server, MySQL, OpenEdge or other relational databasesA willingness to learn new technologies and pursue relevant training opportunitiesPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent work experienceProficient in CSS, PrimeNG, cross-browser and WCAG compliant codeFamiliarity with REST APIs, Python, Java, Spring Boot, Maven, C#, or C++Excellent communication, critical thinking, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skillsNote: Applicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization which does not require sponsorship by the employer for a visa (H1B or otherwise).The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time.
