We're seeking a talented individual to play a key role in the development and maintenance of our robust backend systems. As a crucial member of our team, you will work closely with the CTO, driving infrastructure and DevOps strategies aligned with our business objectives.Key Responsibilities:Design and implement scalable and resilient backend architectures.Lead and manage DevOps initiatives, emphasizing infrastructure as code (IaC), configuration management, and automation.Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable application deployment.Architect and manage cloud-based environments, primarily AWS, ensuring optimal performance and security.Spearhead data engineering efforts, including database design, modeling, and pipeline development.Collaborate with the engineering team to seamlessly integrate backend solutions with front-end applications.Requirements:Strong background in backend development, expertise in Ruby on Rails or similar frameworks.Deep knowledge of DevOps principles and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform).Experience with AWS cloud services and managing cloud infrastructure.Proficient in building and managing CI/CD pipelines for rapid and reliable software deployment.Solid understanding of data engineering, including experience with large-scale databases and data processing tools.Proven leadership skills with experience in mentoring and guiding engineering teams.Exceptional problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication skills, effectively liaising with various technical and non-technical stakeholders.Benefits:Attractive equity package.Flexible work environment with a strong focus on work-life balance.Join a passionate team with a shared love for sports and technology.
