Encore Talent is seeking an Infrastructure Manager to provide leadership and technology vision in the support, development, and implementation of information technology. The Infrastructure Manager is responsible for managing, administering, monitoring, and supporting the infrastructure related components and environments of the company, working directly with the IT Help Desk, supporting technology and applications provided to the business. The Infrastructure Manager position requires strong knowledge and hands on experience with network administration, data center operations, Office 365, and Microsoft systems.Read all the information about this opportunity carefully, then use the application button below to send your CV and application.Responsibilities:Lead and direct performance of the infrastructure teamReview, evaluate, and develop recommendations for enhancements and support of IT infrastructure and applicationsDocument, plan, design, implement, support, and maintain all aspect of the enterprise infrastructure including servers, storage, network, and telecommunication componentsEstablish and implement policies, standards, and guidelines for the IT departmentDevelop and standardize infrastructure services and procedures along with streamlining any discovered inefficienciesManage the team in charge of day-to-day operations to key performance metrics defined for System Security, Network availability and critical system incidentsManage personnel including mentoring and/or working with employees to enhance their performance, career development, and work productionWork with director and managers to determine staffing requirements, interviews, hire new employees, and oversees personnel processesInvestigate and document new technologies, tools, and methodologies to improve system stability and reliabilityOversee, plan, and manage large/complex projectsLead and coordinate innovation efforts to implement new technology solutions and services for employees and customersSelect, manage, and control IT providers and outsourced service providersBuild and nurture positive working relationships with the team, internal clients, and vendorsAdministrate networks and servers and provides support to the IT Help Desk and Rumpke employees as neededAssist with the preparation and presentation of the annual technology budgetReview and maintains applicable service level agreementsQualifications:7+ years of experience with functional and technical aspects of IT support services and related infrastructure solutions, capabilities and technologies including Virtualization (VMWare), Network Management, SAN Storage, Project Management, and Cisco TelephonyAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Server 2008/2012/2016 and Microsoft SQL 2008/2014/2016Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Exchange and Office 365Strong knowledge and experience with Active Directory, PowerShell, and Group Policy3-5 years of infrastructure lead or management experience preferredExperience with AWS, Azure, and other PaaS technologies is desiredPassion for customer service, efficiency, effectiveness, precision, and qualityAbility to form a diverse team with different talents that complement each other (consisting of Rumpke IT professionals and third parties)Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsExcellent analytical and problem resolution skillsStrong leadership skillsAbility to organize and deliver presentations in front of groupsAbility to train IT team and business employeesPossess personal drive and initiative regarding career growthStrong planning and organizational skillsAbility to direct and prioritize the workload of the teamAbility to work independently, prioritize own tasks, and tasks of others.Able to work flexible hours; expected to work nights and weekends as neededAbility to travel between offices, as requiredEncore Talent Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
