Job Description:

We are looking for a Radio Power (RP) Validation Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring that radio power systems meet specified requirements and standards.Increase your chances of reaching the interview stage by reading the complete job description and applying promptly.This role typically involves testing and validating radio frequency (RF) components, circuits, and systems to ensure they operate within desired parameters. This need exposure to RF validation with a Macro 3.8 GHz system.You will validate the performance of individual RF components used in the Macro 3.8 GHz system, such as power amplifiers, antennas, filters, and transceivers. This includes testing for parameters like gain, frequency response, efficiency, and linearity.Responsibilities : Understanding what needs to be measured and how to perform those measurements in the most automated way possible.Validation of radio performances on Bluetooth standards, Zigbee, or proprietary protocols.Debugging and optimizing the Radio, analogue and mixed signal performance of RF transceivers.Creation of tools to facilitate and improve the efficiency of the validation effort using Test stand, LabVIEW, C programming and Python.Collaboration with the design, architecture, SW, customer support and production teams.Qualifications : Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Physics, or related discipline.At least 15 years of experience in a similar positionKnowledge of analog electronics, RF, embedded SW and measurement automation.Experience with LabVIEW, Test stand, Python, C programmingKnowledge of analog and RF design required.Validate the performance of the Macro 3.8 GHz system in real-world environments to confirm that it meets operational requirements and delivers the expected level of service quality.Exposure to RF validation with a Macro 3.8 GHz system requires a thorough and systematic approach to ensure that the system meets performance specifications, regulatory requirements, and user expectations for wireless communication services.Flexible and adaptable with multi-level checking and debugging capability and across many different platforms.Rigorous and methodical with good analytical skills.Pay attention to detail, tenacious in spotting and researching problems.Ability to question and identify weaknesses in specifications.Good team player and with the ability to work in a multi-site environment.Able to innovate.
