A recognized services company in Washington, D.C. is looking to add a new Install Desktop Engineer to their growing staff.Interested in this role You can find all the relevant information in the description below.Responsibilities:The Installation Desktop Engineer will: Assist staff with installation, configuration and ongoing usability of desktops, laptops, and peripheral equipment and softwareServe as a member of technical implementation team fulfilling a wide variety of technical service requests where excellent customer service and professional expertise are requiredSupport customer installations and support in person, remote desktop and/or by phoneMust be focused on working with a team and coordinating with team members to solve complex issuesProvide a high-level of customer service to all customers including effective communicationInstall, configure, and upgrade computer hardware and software which includes the migration of dataProvide technical support and troubleshooting to network, desktop, and/or systems hardware and softwareContribute to departmental policies and procedures related to computer hardware, software installations and customer supportSupport Windows 10, Mac OS, iOS, and AndroidReceive and respond to incoming calls, and/or work orders regarding desktop and/or laptop problemsPerform delivery of IT Equipment as well returning to stock of equipmentProvide phone and help-desk support for local and off-site usersMaintain current knowledge of relevant technologies as assignedParticipate in special projects as requiredQualifications:U.S. Citizenship required.Must pass background investigation to obtain Public Trust.Active Certification required: MCSA, MCSE, ACSP, AMIT, or ACMTAssociate's Degree in a Computer-centered discipline.8+ years of directly related experience supporting IT operations with Windows 10 and in Active Directory environmentMust have 5+ years of experience with technical proficiency in MAC OS, tools and productivity office suitesAdvanced level experience in MAC/PC hybrid environments including mobile devicesHands-on experience with a wide range of infrastructure, including but not limited to Operating Systems, Device Management, and client systemsExperience troubleshooting mobile devices using both iOS and AndroidProvide IT support relating to technical issues involving Microsoft core business applications and operating systemsMust have min. of 3-year experience with JAMF (SCM platform) and SCCM/PXE for WindowsExcellent diagnostic and problem-solving skillsProven analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to effetely prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environmentExtensive equipment support experienceWorking technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems (Windows 10/MacOS) and SOPsMust be able to lift to 50 lbsKeen attention to detailTeam oriented and skilled in working within a collaborative environmentStrong verbal and written communication skillsDesired Skills:Bachelor's DegreeExperience with AirWatch
