Job Description:

As a Senior Business Analyst with our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our projects by meticulously documenting system requirements, collaborating with stakeholders to craft user stories, and conducting thorough systems analysis. Your expertise will be crucial in designing quality assurance test plans and coordinating user acceptance testing to ensure seamless project delivery. Working in a highly collaborative environment, you'll have the opportunity to work independently, yet cohesively with the team, to meet tight deadlines and deliver exceptional results.Client requires three references upon sumbittal so please have those availablePrimary Responsibilities:Document detailed system requirements, including functional, technical, EIR accessibility, and security aspects.Collaborate with business owners and technical teams to write and revise user stories.Conduct systems analysis, creating business process maps, conceptual models, and system architecture diagrams.Develop and execute test cases and scenarios based on business and system requirements, ensuring traceability.Design quality assurance test plans and coordinate user acceptance testing.Identify and document software defects, working with the project's Technical Lead to coordinate solutions.Work in a highly collaborative environment, demonstrating the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.Skills and Qualifications: Minimum Requirements:8 years of experience in business analysis, including gathering and analyzing requirements, preparing test plans, and developing software specifications.Proficiency in testing interfaces, data conversion, and migration for large, complex legacy systems.Ability to collect requirements across multiple program areas, synthesizing data requirements, and developing conceptual data models.Familiarity with SDLC principles and practices, including SDLC management software.Strong problem-solving skills, with experience in troubleshooting computer software systems.Proficiency in facilitating workshops and collaborative work sessions with cross-functional teams.Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.Preferred:5 years of experience with hybrid (waterfall/agile) implementation methods for custom application development.Experience in adult education, learning program services, or workforce development programs.Familiarity with reverse engineering legacy applications to accelerate system redesign and modernization efforts.Why Join Us: At Oscar, we value diversity, collaboration, and innovation.
