Career Management Group is looking for a Quality Engineering Technician to support the Supplier Quality & Manufacturing Quality teams and complete essential quality activities. This is an approximately 6-month contract position with an ASAP start date. Before applying for this role, please read the following information about this opportunity found below.As a Quality Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for the remediation of Supplier Quality documents & the facilitation of Material Review Board (MRB) tasks.QUALIFICATIONS:High School diploma.Technical Degree (Associates) - preferred.2+ years of experience in a similar role.Familiar with Quality Assurance function in a manufacturing environment.Knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and VisioWorking knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language) to organize, manage, and retrieve archived data from a computer database.Ability to manage multiple tasks; demonstrated organizational skills.Demonstrates basic mechanical aptitude.Excellent written/verbal communication skills required. Must be able to work effectively with diverse groups of people.DUTIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Responsible for the remediation of supplier quality documents.Responsible for the facilitation of MRB activities.Maintain effective communication with suppliers.Preparation of documents for Supplier Quality Engineering department review and follow up.Provides tracking and frequent communication on remediation and supplier quality activities.Ensures all department compliance guidelines are met.Provides customer focused interactions.Performs other duties and responsibilities as delegated by the supervisor within the scope of practice and the responsibilities in the department.If you are interested in advancing your career and joining this team of skilled engineers, please apply today!
