firstPRO is hiring a talented Senior PHP Developer with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our client located in Philadelphia, PA. A successful candidate will have experience with Enterprise Architecture Development, REST Microservices, Linux, OOP principles/class design experience. This role is a contract to hire opportunity and has a hybrid work model which requires 2 days onsite.Hit Apply below to send your application for consideration Ensure that your CV is up to date, and that you have read the job specs first.ResponsibilitiesDevelop PHP web applications using frameworks like CodeIgniter, following industry best practices.Understand and implement fully synchronous behavior in PHP.Support front-end development using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.Write quality back-end code and build efficient PHP modules using object-oriented programming.Work with SQL/NoSQL databases and their query languages.Familiarity with Linux OS, virtual machines, and REST APIs.Create technical/design documents as needed.Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges.Ensure accessibility and security compliance.Implement design principles for scalable applications.Integrate multiple data sources and databases.Use code versioning tools such as Git.Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle and deliver quality code after thorough unit testing.Handle multiple priorities and provide support to resolve production issues.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Experience interacting directly with all levels of business stakeholders.Strong experience in software development, particularly in enterprise architecture.Business analyst-like mentality with the ability to understand and translate business requirements.Proficiency in designing and developing REST Microservice systems.Experience working with Linux-based systems.Familiarity with Azure services is a plus.Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and class design..Net development experience strongly preferred.
