You'll leverage your expertise in AWS architecture principles, architecture frameworks, and microservices to translate business needs into robust, agile cloud-based solutions.The RoleResponsibilities:Lead design and implement modern microservices-based architectures aligned with best practices, utilizing the AWS Well-Architected Framework and TOGAF/other equivalent architecture frameworks.Evaluate and select appropriate AWS services and technologies for specific project requirements, prioritizing microservices principles.Define and enforce architecture standards and best practices for cloud-based development, emphasizing loose coupling and high autonomy.Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams on cloud architecture considerations and microservices implementation using any language preferably Java, Spring Boot and Typescript, Angular, ReactJs for frontend.Partner with stakeholders across business units to translate business objectives into actionable technical roadmaps, aligned with a microservices approach.Mentor and advise junior architects on cloud infrastructure, architecture principles, and microservices patterns.Champion innovation and stay ahead of the curve on emerging cloud technologies and trends, particularly those relevant to microservices.Design and implement cloud architectures that adhere to security best practices and industry regulations, taking into account security considerations specific to microservices.Collaborate with security teams to establish secure deployment and operational procedures for microservices architectures.Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy and security regulations for microservices environments.Develop and maintain a comprehensive TRM to guide architectural decisions and ensure consistency across solutions, incorporating considerations for microservices.Align TRM with business and technical strategies, ensuring it evolves to meet changing needs and support the adoption of microservices.Use TRM to evaluate and select appropriate technologies, patterns, and solutions, with a focus on microservices compatibility.Drive adoption of TRM within development teams, fostering a shared understanding of architectural principles and encouraging a microservices mindset.You are:Ability to design and architect scalable, resilient, and cost-effective solutions on AWS. Proficiency in designing multi-tier architectures, fault-tolerant systems, and high availability configurations. Understanding of architectural patterns and best practices for building cloud-native applications.Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or CDK. Ability to define and manage infrastructure using code, enabling reproducibility, scalability, and automation.Strong understanding of networking concepts, including VPC design, subnetting, routing, and security groups. Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security controls, encryption, IAM policies, and access management.Expertise in designing and implementing hybrid cloud architectures, integrating on-premises infrastructure with AWS services. Proficiency in cloud migration strategies and tools, such as AWS Server Migration Service (SMS), Database Migration Service (DMS), or Snowball.Ability to optimize AWS resources for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency. Knowledge of cost management tools, services, and strategies to monitor and control AWS spending.Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and infrastructure automation. Experience with tools such as AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeCommit, or Jenkins for building and deploying applications.Proficiency in monitoring AWS resources, setting up alarms, and configuring logging and metrics. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to performance, scalability, connectivity, and security in AWS environments.Understanding of cloud security best practices, data privacy, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS). Knowledge of AWS security services, including AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM), AWS Key Management Service (KMS), and AWS Certificate Manager (ACM).Strong communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders, gather requirements, and present technical solutions.
