Job Title: Low Voltage EstimatorLocation: Glen Burnie, MD (hybrid)Duration: Permanent, Direct HireSalary: $90-130,000 (or higher/negotiable based on experience)Learn more about the general tasks related to this opportunity below, as well as required skills.Summary:The Low Voltage Estimator will be in charge of assisting with all forms of low voltage, voice/data, AV, or Security builds. Including site walks, pricing, bidding process, and associated close out documentation for commercial projects around DMV area. RCDD or other relevant Low voltage industry certifications preferred but not required.Responsibilities:Manage all contract documents and processes - from inception through close-out. This includes, but is not limited to:Contract and subcontract review and executionChange orders and contract modificationsCost trackingContract reportsDevelopment and negotiations for contracts and subcontractsSmall business subcontractingNegotiating terms and conditions with customers and suppliersCompliance with contract terms and applicable regulationsClose-outs for contracts and individual task ordersSupport acquisition and proposal effortsDuties will include:RFP/RFQ analysisNDA, Prequal, Teaming, joint venture, MOU review and executionAcquisition strategy supportPricing reviewsCompliance reviewsMarket research to identify potential sourcesPreparing and posting solicitations to subcontractors and/or suppliersEvaluating submitted proposals/quotes from subcontractors and/or suppliersEducation and Experience:5+ years' experience in all aspects of construction contracting and administration5+ years' experience in all aspects of government contracting and administrationBA/BS degree desirable, preferably in Business AdministrationExperience with all contract types (FFP, T&M, cost-plus)Experience with Open Market contracts and acquisitionsExperience with Federal Government IDIQ contracts and GSA Schedule contractsThorough knowledge of FAR, DFARS CAS, and agency FAR supplementsExperience performing independent reviews of procurements to ascertain regulatory requirements and level of compliance risk and other risksCustomer service skills, with dual goals of managing business risks while preserving and enhancing customer and supplier relationshipsExcellent interpersonal and written communications skillsBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceJob description is subject to change at supervisor's discretion at any time.Verigent is an equal opportunity employer.
