The role involves strategizing, project management, product development and design. Having a collaborative attitude and strong interpersonal skills will help everyone thrive.Duties and ResponsibilitiesCoach, and support engineering teamDevelop technical strategy and budget proposalMonitor technical strategy performance metricsDevelop engineer team goals with engineering staff membersInternal teams to ensure project timelines and budgets are metDevelop new product design concepts and lead development thru completionQualificationsA degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering or related field of study5+ years of management experienceStrong interpersonal and communication skillsExperience in 3d cad design software, Autodesk Inventor, Solidworks, etc.Physical RequirementsThe Engineering Manager will have prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk and working on a computer. The person may also need to spend time standing watching and moving around a large machine. Work hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
