This individual will play a crucial role in a transition to cloud-based operations and will be heavily focused on the security aspects of this migration.Responsibilities:Provide Level 4 technical support for data and voice network systems, addressing inquiries from the Customer Support Center, staff, site personnel, and external vendors.Oversee the implementation and administration of LAN/WAN networks across various locations. These networks support a VoIP-based phone system and video conferencing infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, VPN tunnels, load balancers, DNS/IP address management, and backup/recovery solutions.Ensure that all firmware is up to date.Implement encryption to TLS.2.Work with internal systems, including Cisco phones, Palo Alto firewalls, and Aruba wireless.Communicate effectively with senior leadership, including the CTO and CIO of the health system.Serve as a mentor within the team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.Requirements:5+ years of telephony experience, ideally with Cisco UCCEExperience with Cisco Call ManagerExperience QoS and Bandwidth managementExperience with cloud technologies, ideally AzureExperience with telephony security Ability to work on a hybrid schedule, with the flexibility to work on-site as needed.Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and effectively.A positive, upbeat personality and the ability to work well in a team.Preferred Qualifications:CCNP level certification or higher is strongly preferred.Cisco CCIE, Aruba AMCP, Palo Alto PCNSEExperience with cloud migrations and security.
