Our translation solutions allow a diverse array of clients to deliver local language products, services, applications, training, and content in a culturally appropriate manner.The GlobalLink Technology Services Engineering team provide our customers and internal teams with excellent technical assistance on the GlobalLink suite of products.What You Will Be Doing:Build advanced understanding of GlobalLink technologiesMonitor and respond to user queries via the ticketing systemTroubleshoot technical issues related to GlobalLink productsManage and generate licenses for some GlobalLink applicationsWork in collaboration with our development team and product owners reporting bugs and tracking issues in the ticketing platformDocument issues internally for future reference using existing templatesPost and maintain information related to GlobalLink, customer requirements, or support procedures on the IntranetTrain and guide less experienced colleagues on GlobalLink and other applicationsAssist in creating training materials for new and existing software and proceduresComplete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for this role and assigned by the manager/supervisorWho We Are Looking For:Bachelor´s Degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent professional experience in a similar positionExperience in technical support and bug reporting tools, identifying, documenting and tracking support issues and defectsExcellent oral and written communication skills in EnglishAbility to promptly answer support-related email, phone calls and other electronic communicationsExcellent skills with WindowsInterpersonal skills, enjoys working with people and being part of a teamAbility to follow procedures to meet deadlinesSelf-motivated, detail-oriented and organizedAbility to self-learn new technologies and skills based on documentation, eLearning, and simulated test scenariosDESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEPrevious experience in or knowledge of Localization EngineeringWorking knowledge of and experience in writing and executing test scripts and understanding software testing methodologiesExperience with Corrective and Preventive Action processesMac OS, Unix and Linux knowledgeWhere Your Career Is Going:At TransPerfect, there are a lot of growth opportunities.
