We are looking for a Land Surveyor / Surveying Technician role in our Roseville, CA location. Qualified candidates with strong technical abilities and an interest in land development and infrastructure projects are encouraged to apply. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.The Land Surveyor / Surveying Technician primarily works in the office under the general direction of the Field Work Supervisor and office Survey Manager on a wide range of land development and public infrastructure projects including residential, commercial, institutional, mixed-use developments, and public infrastructure projects.ResponsibilitiesGeneral responsibilities of the Land Surveyor / Surveying Technician include:Interpreting civil improvement and grading plans for preparation and evaluation of construction staking calculations.Preparation of survey documents to support field survey efforts, including control surveys, topographic surveys, aerial surveys, and boundary surveys.Communicating with clients, contractors, and project superintendents as well as field survey personnel and in-house engineering staff.Processing field survey data for QA/QC checks.Preparing exhibits for use by engineering and surveying staff based on field survey data collection.Candidate must possess the ability to use and learn technical software, such as AutoCAD Civil3D, Trimble Business Center, Blue Beam, Microsoft Suite, and advanced field surveying equipment software.We value candidates that thrive in a culture of strong work ethic and team camaraderie.
