Our experienced staff has hands-on knowledge of the water industry.Read on to find out what you will need to succeed in this position, including skills, qualifications, and experience.Role DescriptionSZ PM Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Green Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a Green Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing green infrastructure projects for a DC mega wastewater management project. You will work closely with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of experience in civil engineering, a professional PE license, and familiarity with DC Water GI standards. This is a full-time position with a commitment until 2030.Responsibilities:Provide engineering design services for Green Infrastructure facilities such as Open space bioretention and other GI facilities such as GI on alleys, planter bioretention, subsurface storage, and other application. Perform field investigation to identify locations where GI can be constructed cost effectively on public land (PROW, NPS, DC Properties, etc.).Develop concept design themes at selected public space locations. Hold meetings with regulatory agencies as needed to review concepts and gain approval. Engage with Residents, ANC members, Councilmembers, and other non-regulatory stakeholders. Provide other technical support and guidance to project teams as needed.
