DescriptionWe are seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in optimizing our production processes and ensuring smooth operations. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, quality, and production, to drive continuous improvement and deliver high-quality products to our customers.In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing existing manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing innovative solutions to maximize efficiency and reduce waste. You will also work closely with our design team to provide input on manufacturing feasibility and develop production plans that meet cost, quality, and delivery targets.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and improve manufacturing processes, methods, and standard operating proceduresConduct time studies, capacity analysis, and line balancing to optimize production efficiencyCollaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement manufacturing layouts and ergonomic workstationsIdentify and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvementsSupport new product introductions by providing manufacturing input and developing production plansConduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process-related issuesMonitor production performance metrics and drive continuous improvement activitiesIf you want to know about the requirements for this role, read on for all the relevant information.RequirementsProven experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in a fast-paced environmentStrong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and methodologiesExperience with process optimization and continuous improvement initiativesFamiliarity with Six Sigma tools and methodologiesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and collaboration abilitiesAbility to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlinesKnowledge of regulatory compliance standards for the manufacturing industry will be a plusEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering preferred)Minimum 5 years of experience with manufacturing processesMinimum 2 years of proven project leadership experienceExperience with Lean Manufacturing and process improvements required; prefer Lean Expert or Toyota Production System trainingSix Sigma Green Belt Required; Black Belt PreferredExperience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban and 5S
