As a Speech and Language Pathologist at NCG Associates, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of patients by providing evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for communication and swallowing disorders.If your skills, experience, and qualifications match those in this job overview, do not delay your application.ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilitiesCreate and implement personalized treatment plans to address patients' specific needs and goalsUtilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and exercises to improve speech and language abilitiesAssist patients in developing alternative methods of communication, such as sign language or augmentative communication devicesCollaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to provide comprehensive careMonitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessaryEducate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and techniquesStay up-to-date with advancements in speech and language pathology through continuing education and professional developmentRequirementsMaster's degree in Speech and Language Pathology from an accredited programLicensure as a Speech and Language PathologistCertification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)Minimum of 2 years of experience in speech and language pathologyStrong knowledge of communication and swallowing disorders and treatment techniquesAbility to assess and diagnose speech and language disorders and develop appropriate treatment plansExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCompassionate and patient-centered approach to therapyAbility to work effectively in a team environmentFlexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekendsFamiliarity with electronic medical records systemsCurrent BLS certification (Basic Life Support)If you are passionate about improving communication and swallowing abilities in patients and meet the above requirements, we encourage you to apply.
