Some 18,000 financial services and healthcare organizations, from the world's largest institutions to local firms, manage and account for their investments using SS&C's products and services.The SS&C Compliance team is a newly launched division within the greater SS&C GlobeOp organization.The Compliance Team specializes in providing fund compliance services for assetfund managers, across a variety of leveraged loan funds such as CLOs and Separately Managed Accounts.The CLO Compliance Business Analyst will participate and carry out various tasks related to SS&C's compliance system platform build-out including but not limited to fund onboardings, new fund launches, and live production requests for on-going system and data related enhancement projects for the continued build out of the Compliance capabilities and services.Position Responsibilities Represent the Compliance team and liaise with tech teams, by utilizing CLO product and portfolio compliance knowledge along with technical and programmingknowledge to help design, translate, and test processes and data flows across SS&C's compliance services platform Create, document and communicate business and functional requirement documents (BRDs, FRDs) specific to CLO and investment guideline mechanics to in-house technology teams. Oversee and perform quality control and regression testing prior to compliance system functionality upgrades and enhancements. Review, troubleshoot, debug, and raise issues or changes needed to tech and developments teams relating to any integrity and performance issues with SS&C's compliance system. Liaise across interdepartmental teams on projects and deliverables related to the continued build out of Compliance team servicing platform, with a focus on leading and owning the technical and architectural components of the projects from a business perspective. Become a subject matter expert on the SS&C compliance system platform and impacts to the platform across SS&C's wider technology platform. Position Requirements Bachelors degree in businessfinanceinformation systems, or related discipline Experienced in working with cross functional teams at a project level at either CLO asset manager shop, trustee or custodian, or financial services firm. 4 years minimum of CLO industry experience, and SMAERISA40ACT funds investment guideline monitoring. Familiarity with SMA Investment Guideline Agreements and knowledge of CLO lifecycle from warehouse to redemption, CLO mechanics, experience in reading and interpreting compliance tests and guidelines from CLO indentures. Some programming andor technical application experience preferred - SQL, BI tools, writing queries. Familiarity with financial related systems is a plus but not pre-requisite such as Advent Geneva and IBM COGNOS. Can articulate business and industry requirements, and then translate and document into technical terms for IT focused teams (both verbal and written). Experience with syndicated leveraged loan asset class Excellent attention to detail and ability to problem solve Excellent written and verbal communication skills - this position will interface directly with senior management on a day to day basis.
