SENIOR MANAGER OF OPERATIONS & DONORS RELATIONSdigitalundivided is looking for an experienced and talented Senior Manager of Operations & Donor Relations to join our team based in Newark. The Senior Manager of Operations & Donor Relations reports Chief of Staff & Operations Lead, and works very closely to the CEO. The ideal candidate will serve as the main point of contact with Donors, in support to the CEO and Partnerships Departments, as well as will be responsible for leading and maximizing the Operations Department. Secondarily, other departments' initiatives as needed, in a support capacity - including, but not limited to Research, Events and Accounts, when their initiatives can be leveraged by a cross-departmental function. The individual must be EXTREMELY detail-oriented, able to foster and maintain good relationships with a diversity of individuals and organizations aligned with digitalundivided's mission. In addition, must be highly organized, have advanced tech skills, and be comfortable working in a collaborative start-up environment across cultures, sectors, partnerships, and technologies.The successful candidate will have experience with startups, non-profit andor for profit social-impact focused enterprises, or other initiatives that support high-growth women of color. The candidate must have a great understanding of the social impact ecosystem; also, the candidate may instead have a deep passion for digitalundivided's mission and work as well as some exposure to entrepreneurship.The Senior Manager of Operations & Donor Relations will be a collaborative thinker who can seamlessly execute tactics amongst competing priorities. This individual must be a self-starter that can work independently with the desire to contribute to a rapidly-growing social startup.DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO Foster and maintain a relationship with former, current and potential future donors, ensuring appropriate timely follow-up. Work closely and collaboratively with all digitalundivided teams. Including, but not limited to the Partnerships, Research and Communications departments, in order to leverage different initiatives that could add new donors to the pipeline, as well as to cultivate the current ones. Develop and execute the yearly strategic plan for increasing donations and grow revenue. Prepare and present to the CEO and the Board of Directors quarterly reports. Maintain our CRM (Salesforce) updated in terms of new leads and automatic actions. Work closely with our Accounts Lead to keep track of incoming funds and any other legal documentation, as needed. Develop and execute a Donor Recognition Program. Improve, design, or implement the operational systems, processes, and policies in support of the organization's mission (for example, SOPs process maps, policy memos, and training). Provide effective and inspiring leadership, as well as stewardship, of digitalundivided by being actively involved in all operations aspects of the organization, including, but not limited to, developing sound HR practices, reviewing and maintaining financial records, negotiate leases, manage staff across multiple locations, instituting a system of checks and balances, implementing and leading a continuous quality improvement process, and developing sound systems that allow the company to successfully and gracefully scale it's activities. Prepare and submit an annual operational budget for review and approval, manage effectively within this budget, and report accurately on progress made and challenges encountered. Lead the creation and implementation of a reporting system for key stakeholders, including the digitalundivided Annual Report and impact assessments. Lead and manage the organization's yearly audit. Manage and work with key vendors. Ensure the continued financial viability of digitalundivided's programservice units through sound fiscal management. Reinforce the OKR system at the organization. Keep track of the organization's OKRs, implement and lead Quarterly Sessions to evaluate the progress and find room for improvement in order to reach the goals. Provide Project Management support, based on the Agile Methodology, to the team. Focus on efficiency and communication to help the team execute more effectively, across the organization. Assist in the organization's recruiting efforts with direction from CEO and internal support from internal HR. Lead onboarding programming for new staff, securing talent retention, and reducing the turnover rate. Create a culture of honest feedback at all levels, with strong enforcement of practices, based on our culture and values. Lead the performance evaluation process - QuarterlyAnnual review process. Ensure all roles are clear on expectations. Requirements Proven ability to foster and maintain an ongoing relation with the major donors of the organization. An experient user of Salesforce, with strong analytical skills, database proficiency and outstanding budgetary and financial skills, including target setting and monitoring. Undergraduate degree by an accredited college, in a related field. A Master degree is a plus, but not required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role (operations with fundraising andor sales experience). Proven knowledge of major gift fundraising methodology including prospect research, managing databases for major account portfolio management, proposal preparation and the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of major donors. Has supported major donation campaigns andor has led small donation campaigns successfully in past roles. Deep understanding of how to use the operations and development techniques to ensure continuous improvement of the internal processes, increasing effectiveness and efficacy, but also keeping high levels of organizational health and well-being. Ability to measure social impact. Superior interpersonal and communications skills, with strong cross-cultural communication and emotional intelligence. High sense of urgency, with a high level of professionalism and maturity; a collaborative self-starter. Superb level of organization and experience in people operations. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality. A strong interest in the innovation economy and the startup community. A strong sense of ethics and commitment to the mission of digitalundivided. Technology savvy (experience using G-Suite, social media platforms, CRM (Salesforce and Workable) communication platforms like Slack, and project management tools like Asana (for example). Ability to work independently and on teams and meet deadlines. It is a bonus if the candidate has experience with research (qualitative andor quantitative). It is a bonus if the candidate has experience with Agile Methodology and OKRs. Bonus if you have experience in operations in banking, tech workspace andor as a business consultant.
