That is why if you've ever been to a Clover restaurant you will most-likely smell the freshly-brewed George Howell coffee or see the shiny Pour-Over cones as soon as you step in. At our coffee barstation, not only do we make beautiful drinks, but we make our own unique coffee syrups (Lavender, Mexican Chocolate, Orange Rind, etc.), and sell various bags of George Howell coffee beans!In this role, you will create an open, welcoming atmosphere centered around food by drawing in customers with Clover storytelling. The ideal candidate will excel at working in a fast-paced restaurant environment and will be responsible for providing a premier experience to customers, building a sense of community within their restaurant, and collecting feedback from customers that will help Clover become a better place.Our Barista should be a huge fan of Clover and coffee, loves food and sharing it with others, has excellent communications skills, and is a team-player with a strong work-ethic.Some of the Barista Duties will look like...Engaging one-on-one with customers through order-taking Baking treats and pastries each morning (Mmm...freshly baked cookies!)Ability to create current and new syrup flavorsWorking with their manager to build sales and improve customer experienceCollecting and responding to customer feedback weeklyMaintaining retail inventory, tracking sales, and assisting in merchandisingAdvertising Clover news (partnerships, seasonal foods, etc.) through word of mouth, signageHuman Resources department may invite you to participate in a Practical Interview. This gives you the opportunity to interview us. Applicants experience the job hands on, get to know the staff and gain a better understand Clover culture. Additionally, we use the face-to-face interaction as an opportunity to get to know you better.RequirementsAs a Barista you are required to:Experience in a customer-facing roleExcellent communications skillsA passion for coffee and food, as well as a willingness to work hardA basic understanding of tone, voice, aesthetics, brand, and storytellingThe ability to thrive in a self-directed, fast-paced, startup environmentThe ability to stand for prolonged periods of time, and repeated walking, bending, stretching, and occasional lifting (up to 50lbs), with or without reasonable accommodationAble to work a varied schedule that includes nights and weekendsDon't meet every single requirement?
