Bluebird Staffing is hiring a Clinical Reimbursement Specialist!13 week Contract!Fully Remote!$35hr!!Discipline- Contract Hospital Clinical Reimbursement Specialists- Evaluates Cath lab notes and identifies the appropriate procedures chargesCPT codesmodifiers- Identifies when documentation relevant to coding the procedure is missing, lacks specificity, or is inconsistent and communicates with physicians via EPIC in basket messaging to obtain the missing information.- Applies regulatory requirements such as medical necessity policies as CPT codes are being selected- Demonstrates an expert knowledge of hospital outpatient coding guidelines, medical terminology, anatomyphysiology, and payer specific coding guidelines.
