This person will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety within our manufacturing operations. This position involves developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems, leading quality assurance efforts, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, the role involves overseeing safety programs, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality management, safety practices, and leadership, with a focus on driving excellence and fostering a culture of safety within the organization.Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.Lead and manage the quality assurance team to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations and specifications.Conduct regular audits of manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.Collaborate with production teams to develop and implement quality control procedures and best practices.Analyze data and metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components.Develop and deliver training programs to ensure all employees understand and adhere to quality standards and safety vestigate and resolve customer complaints and non-conformance issues in a timely and effective manner.Implement and maintain a comprehensive safety program to minimize workplace accidents and injuries.Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement appropriate control measures.Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to quality management and safety.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, industrial technology, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of quality management systems, standards, and methodologies (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma).Experience with safety management systems and regulatory compliance (e.g., OSHA, EPA).Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to drive change and implement process improvements.Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Certifications such as Certified Quality Manager (CQM), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) are preferred.Work Environment:The role will be on-site at our manufacturing plant in Greensboro, NC.
