Job Description:

WME seeks a talented and highly motivated lawyer to join its legal and business affairs team, primarily supporting its Brand Partnerships agents.ResponsibilitiesNegotiating and managing a high volume of short-form and long-form contracts, including endorsement, appearance, license and other image-rights and personal-services agreements, primarily for talent clients and always under tight deadlinesCollaborating with agents and other executives to establish best practices for dealmaking around emerging technologies, such as generative AI, extended reality and immersive internetActing as an entrepreneurial business partner by providing actionable guidance to agents, contributing to agent training, and working collaboratively and inclusively across departments to drive progressAdvising internally on business and legal issues, including questions of contract interpretation, guild rules, dispute resolution and compliance mattersImplementing and refining systems for tracking and sharing information, and for driving innovationFostering positive long-term relationships with the agency's clients and customersQualificationsAdmitted attorney (NY or CA) with 10+ years of transactional legalbusiness affairs experience, ideally with at least 2 at a firmExperience with endorsement andor licensing contractsSome familiarity with SAG-AFTRA commercials contract and FTC endorsement guidelinesOutstanding drafting, negotiation, analytical and organizational skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to interact with a range of personalities and styles in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentDemonstrated passion for your chosen field, and a genuine commitment to workplace equitySound judgment, a curious mind, a strong work ethic, and a creative approach to problem solvingGrit, tenacity and flexibilityHow we work:Endeavor is at the center of sports, media, entertainment, and fashion and is a largely relationship-based business.
