Apply today! #20241804Director, Financial Services and Property RecordsMinimum Base Compensation $111,877.84As the Director, Financial Services and Property Records, you will provide accurate accounting of all District expenditures and revenue to include the School Board Leasing Corporation. In addition, this role will ensure that all tangible property is accounted for according to state and local laws, regulations, and policies of the School Board. You will ensure the accurate completion and timely submission of the Annual Financial Report and assume responsibility for the proper processing of all journal entries made to the accounting records.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting or business administration.Seven (7) years of experience in governmental or private sector accounting.Three (3) years of experience in supervision of staff.Your ResponsibilitiesProvide oversight to all division priorities and projects that assist in achieving the objectives of the District's strategic plan.Review policies and procedures continuously in order to make recommendations to improve upon and standardize spect and analyze operations regularly within the area of assignment to take action to continuously improve procedures, services, and support to schools and work locations.Identify and resolve District issues with reference to higher authority as may be required for corrective action.Assist in the preparations and issuance of various internal monthly and annual reports that accurately represent the District's activities.
