Job Description:

Position Summary:Responsible for overseeing the payroll functions for the company. Processes payroll, maintains associate payroll records, and prepares and distributes payroll and associated reports.The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for creating a professional work environment, which reflects the Pennrose priorities of customer service, respect and collegiality among property team members, full compliance with the regulatory requirements of each property's funding source(s), and to meet the financial and operational goals while following company policies and procedures and applicable regulations. Duties and responsibilities:Oversees all aspects of system administration for payroll system. Serves as primary point of contact for payroll system vendor. Establishes system users and sets security access levelsManages associate database, entering new hire and termination information and updating current associate information, ensuring accuracy of data received from all departments.Maintains and secures timesheets, payroll records, and other payroll-related documentation.Processes bi-weekly payroll for approximately 500 associates in multi-statesite locations, including calculating hours paid and overtime, bonuses, inputting information into payroll system, and generating paychecks.Performs account reconciliations and analysis. Reconciles deposits, withholdings, deductions, and garnishmentsEnsures timely processing of all tax-related forms and reportsPrepares and distributes periodic reports (e.g. payroll totals, accruals, deductions)Conducts audits to ensure system and procedural accuracy Works with management and associates to resolve payroll issuesRequired Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred3 years payroll experienceProficiency in ADP Workforce Now
