Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Secretary to provide clerical and administrative support to our department management and staff. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling various administrative tasks efficiently. This role will involve reception duties, customer service, and general office support. Responsibilities:Greet and assist visitors at the reception desk, handling walk-ins and directing inquiries.Manage incoming calls and emails, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.Prepare reports, memos, and correspondence using word processing and spreadsheet software.Maintain organized files for departmental records and documentation.Plan and schedule departmental meetings and travel arrangements.Prepare and submit expense reports, monitor office supplies, and process invoices.Assist with shipping materials and other departmental projects as needed.Provide general administrative support to department management and staff. Skills and Qualifications:3-5 years of previous secretarial or administrative termediate to advanced PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and AccessSQL).Basic knowledge of accounting functions and experience with business writing.Ability to work well independently and prioritize tasks effectively.Excellent organizational and communication skills.General knowledge of the insurance industry preferred.Good public relation skills and some business training preferred.Ability to multitask, pay attention to detail, and work in a structured yet flexible manner.Self-starter with strong motivation and resilience.Hours: M-F, 9-5 onsiteCompensation: $22-$23Location: Indianapolis, INDirect Hire Job Requirements:Year(s) of Experience: 3+ years of AdministrativeSecretary experienceEducation: Bachelor Degree preferred or equivalent years of experienceAdditional:Extensive Excel knowledge needed
