If you want to contribute to meaningful work and be part of an organization that truly believes when you win, we all win, and when you fail, we all learn, then we're eager to hear from you.Primary Responsibilities:Work in Siemens NX Drafting or MBD (model-based definition) for the development of complex jet engine or aircraft system components and assemblies Create 2D concepts, detail drawings, layouts, and 3D CAD solid models and assemblies in Siemens NX, with Teamcenter Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and some Bill of MaterialsApply tolerance stack-up analysis results to ensure correct fit and alignment, and performance of complex aircraft assembliesKnow ASME Y14.5M 2018 GD&T standards and check drawings for accuracy and compliance to the customer and aerospace industry drafting and manufacturing standardsEnsure proper filing, control, and export classification of drawings and dataSupport product design reviews and coordinate with other disciplines like project, engineering, and manufacturing teamsProven capacity to work effectively in a team environment, comprehend and implement inputs, strong 2-way communication, meet deadlines and coordinate with project group Attention to detail and strict adherence to the design process for successful realization of well defined products for manufacture by our demanding customers and their supply chain. QualificationsExperience Needed:A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and some intern coop experience In-depth knowledge of ASME Y14.5M 2018 GD&T standardsWorking knowledge of drafting, CAD modeling and product life cycle (PLM) tools and general computer literacyU.S. citizenship is required to be eligible for a security clearanceMust possess or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigationreinstatement and must meet eligibility requirementsPreferred Qualifications:BSME with 1-4 years of product definition experience Experience with Siemens NX CAD Drafting and MBD and Teamcenter PLM in the design or definition of mechanical engine components and assembliesPossess a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance
