We value an inclusive and belonging environment where everyone's different viewpoints bring new successes!The Role:The responsibility of the Front Desk Receptionist is to serve as the primary contact for customers and policy owners and assist with work as needed.Specific responsibilities include but will not be limited to:Greet visitors and direct them appropriatelyAnswer, screen and record telephone callsMaintain telephone system and agency directoryProcess incoming and outgoing mail; federal express to home office nightly mailReport policies and other reporting requirementsLog and process incoming investment checks - email FR's for instructionsLog incoming and outgoing policies.Maintain the reception and Kitchen areasAct as a liaison between office and building management to address issues.Make copies, e-file incoming investment correspondence, maintain copy and fax machinesMaintain inventory and order office supplies as neededAnswer basic policy ownerpolicy benefit questionsAct as administrative support for financial representativesstaff as neededComplete andor assist with projects as assigned by the Office ManagerDirector of OperationsCross-train in other support rolesQualifications:It is recommended that the Administrative Support position have the following qualifications:Basic computer and Microsoft Office experienceMulti-line phone experience preferredCustomer service experience strongly preferredAbility to handle detailed work with high degree of accuracyExcellent interpersonal skillsExperience in problem-solvingHigh level of organizational skillsExcellent written and oral communication skillsProfessional office skillsAbility to take independent action to make sound decisionsAbility to multi-taskAbility to be flexible and open-minded.Ability to work effectively with people at all levels
