Wiese USA, one of the nation's largest material handling dealerships, has an immediate need for a Facilities Manager to join our corporate team headquartered in St. Louis. Wiese operates from over 40 locations across 25 states. In this role, you are charged with ensuring that the commercial properties, owned andor leased, meet the needs of our company.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesInitiate or assist with the buying and selling of properties in the portfolio.Manages the research, analysis, and negotiating activities required to assess opportunities for acquiring additional locations, land, or buildings.Oversees budgets, lease administration, and tenant service delivery.Responsible for coordinating routine and emergency maintenance, selecting and managing contractors, and leading property improvement projects.Directs day-to-day construction project management planning and execution processes to meet project design requirements, schedules, and organizational financial objectives.Manages governance of projects by establishing standards, processes, and tools for effective project management throughout the project lifecycle.Uses comprehensive knowledge of construction processes and operations to set project productivity and quality targets.Monitors all project milestones, changes, and technical status reports.Responds to escalated project issues that may impede project delivery and coordinates solutions.Assists in the preparation, review, and administration of contractual proposals relating to construction projects.Responsible for preparing bids and negotiating specifications for materials, equipment, manpower, or other construction services.Secures all necessary approvals and ensures that standard company procedures are followed.Liaises with clients, designers, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure deliverables, requirements, schedules, costs, and meeting plans are documented and communicated. Requirements2+ years of property management or like experienceAbility to work on-site with up to 40% travel.Ability to build trust and establish strong relationships across diverse teams, combined with an ability to influence without direct authority.Superior analytical, technical, and interpersonal skills.Should have the desire to work with others to solve problems and bring about positive change.Highly organized self-starter with the ability to juggle multiple projects.More about us:We are material handling!
