Role: Electrical Design Engineer (Automotive)Location: Manasquan, NJTerm: Full-timeSalary: $80,000 - $95,000About the Company: Our client is a leading provider of bespoke Automotive equipment located near Manasquan, NJ, and are seeking a dedicated Electrical Design Engineer to join their small team and contribute to ongoing product development.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Design of wiring harnesses using SolidWorks Electrical.Collaborate with the design team to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.Plan and modify electrical configurations to meet customer needs.Produce job electrical designs using appropriate software based on sales submissions.Review chassis proposals to ensure electrical capability.Layout and design schematics and orthographic views using CAD tegrate HVAC automotive systems into vehicles.Oversee multiplex programming to support electrical interfaces.Analyze electrical design requirements and recommend solutions.Coordinate with other staff to resolve design problems.Review and analyze specifications, sketches, and drawings.Modify designs to correct deficiencies or reduce production problems.Define and release complete job electrical bill of material.Ensure all necessary electrical documentation is complete for successful transfer to manufacturing.Work on design projects to reduce product costs and improve efficiency.Adhere to all deadlines to support continuous improvement initiatives.Requirements:Proficiency in Solidworks Electrical or 3D electrical design software.Experience with AutoCAD or other 2D CAD software.Familiarity with EPDM, Outlook, and Excel.Understanding of automotive electrical design concepts.Ability to analyze complex circuits.Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.How to Apply:If you are interested in joining our team as an Electrical Design Engineer, please apply directly through our website or send your resume to Jack Smillie at .
