We are seeking a technically savvy and hungry BizDev rainmaker looking to make a lasting mark on the industry."Real estate has become an intricate web of financing structures. We disassemble them."This is an incomparable position to capitalize on the changes in the commercial real estate market. In this role, the right candidate will interact between borrowers, lenders, investors and sellers.A typical week will involve communicating with distressed borrowers desiring loan workout advisory services, Lender who are seeking to sell us their loans, and investors seeking to participate in our ventures.NOTE: The base salary is merely downside protection for the upside profit-sharing opportunity.Please make sure to reply to the screening questions.Duties:Oversee initial conversations with the aforementioned various partiesOnboarding debt restructuring projectsPitching our platform to lenders and debt sellersNegotiating with borrowers of debt that we ownVetting and structuring investment inquiriesPitching our platformQualifications:Must have entered the commercial real estate industry prior to the 2008 crisis (You must understand distress to accurately assess it and work it)Must have a solid working knowledge of commercial real estate financeMust have a general understanding of commercial real estate operations across all asset classesMust understand the motivations of either a lender or borrowerStrong negotiation and deal-making skillsFamiliarity with typical fund and GPLP structuresExcellent written and communication skillsFamiliarity with CRM platforms or related softwareScreening Question:What do you think the next few years will bring in commercial real estate, AND why?Why are you interested in this job?Why do you think that you can thrive in this job?About us: Our principals been acquiring operating and managing multifamily and commercial assets since the mid 1980's when we started by purchasing unsold shares and management of broken NYC Co-Op's amassing a close to 100-property portfolio. Since 2010, we've been advising on debt restructuring with an expertise in CMBS and structured finance, and over the past couple of years, we've been acquiring real estate securities.
