Job Description:

Basic Function:Responsible for day-to-day customer management of specified customer accounts.Responsibilities:Provide total customer management and support for assigned customers.o This role is the face of 603 Manufacturing. The Strategic Account Manager represents not only 603 Manufacturing but the customer within the organization.Primary interface between customer and 603 Manufacturing using the following methods:o Emailo In Persono PhonePerform order entry for assigned customer POs, including contract review.Customer account growth.Handling of all customer change orders.Handling of all customer RMAs.Customer quote managemento Quote entry and setupo Management of quotes through engineering and purchasing for costingo Prepare the final quoteproposal for delivery to the customer by establishing price and lead time based on inputs from engineering, purchasing and historical datao Present the final quotes to management for sign offo Support engineering and purchasing as necessaryFollow up with customers by email or voice on all mid to high dollar value bids.Forward all customer drawings and corresponding emails to document control for proper logging.Purchase order and contract negotiations with customers.Customer account profit and loss monitoring and review on a monthlyquarterly basis. Monitor and manage material and labor cost over terface with all facets of the 603 Manufacturing terface with engineering on technical issues and convey the issues to the customer for terface with the customer on schedule and cost impacts as they arise.Manage and analyze OTD metrics with 603 Manufacturing management.Manage customers schedule and expectations; working with 603 manufacturing disciplines to achieve the customers goals.Monitor customer quality metrics.
