Full Charge BookkeeperExecutive AssistantLocation: Columbia, MD$75,000 - $95,000 annuallyFull-time, PermanentSeeking a permanent employee to act as both Assistant to the Director of the Firm and Full Charge Bookkeeper at a dynamic and growing company in Columbia, MD. This role will play a critical role in supporting our accounting and administrative functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting and efficient operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively.Bookkeeping:- Perform full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.- Manage bank reconciliations and cash flow.- Handle all aspects of general ledger, including journal entries and account reconciliations.- Monitor and manage budgets and forecasts.- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.Executive Assistance:- Provide administrative support to the Director, including calendar management and travel.- Document and prepare office policies and procedures.- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.- Assist with special projects as assigned by the executive team.Requirements:- Proven experience as a full charge bookkeeper or in a similar role.- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite.- Excellent organizational and time management skills.- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Discretion and ability to handle confidential information.We are committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace where all employees are valued and respected.
