Title: IT Support Specialist15 month contract + extensions, multi year rolling contractOn-Site in Boston, MA ( Seaport )Rate: 25-45hrExact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave andor other paid time off as provided by applicable law. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.Basic Requirements 5+ years working in an IT support team following ServiceDesk practices. (Multi-site support, incident management, problem management, change management).Additional SkillsPreferences:Bachelor's or Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Management, or other related fields.Broad knowledge of IT Service Support and environments (Windows, Mac, Desktop Support, mobile support, printer support, network support)Knowledge of site-specific environmentSelf-starer, ability to work independentlyExemplary communication skills Strong network understandingGood knowledge of Telephony solutionsStrong teamwork and people skillsAbility to manage multiple priority projectsVendor engagement skillsIncident problem managementExperience working around lab or manufacturing environments (preferably pharmaceutical)Basic knowledge of telecom, workplace, AV and mobility technologies and how to support them.
