Job Description:

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the efforts of the marketing team to carry out marketing initiatives. Their duties include researching market trends and compiling reports about consumer and client needs, creating marketing campaign assets, managing marketing workflows and calendars, documenting, and assisting in executing marketing initiatives.Responsibilities:Conducting research to analyze competitive landscape, market trends and customer behavior and preparing reports by collecting, summarizing, and analyzing dataSupporting the team in establishing and evaluating a marketing strategy and plan by analyzing and assembling sales forecasts, updating calendars, and organizing and planning promotional presentationsCommunicating campaign deliverables, objectives and timelines to their team while providing instructions for promotion or usePlanning and managing trade shows, conferences, events, and meetings by identifying, coordinating, and assembling requirements, developing assignments and schedules, coordinating mailing lists and establishing contactsMaintaining an inventory and directory of sales support materials making sure all resources are accurate and current while coordinating new material creation as neededContinually seeking and researching new sources of prospective customers while providing recommendations to marketing and sales leadershipWork efficiently to execute both simple and complex projects with complete understanding of audience and goalsRequirements:Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate clearly with various departments including marketing, product, design, sales, technology, operations, as well as vendors, contractors, and freelancers.Project management experience and time-management skills for juggling numerous time-sensitive projects simultaneously. Being familiar with project management software is also an asset.Strong computer skills for generating reports, viewing marketing metrics, extracting data, and sharing this information with other team members in project updates. Working knowledge of basic applications, programs and features is a must with experience in email marketing and graphic design being very helpful.
