Your career will flourish as you are provided opportunities for development and mentorship by some of the top industry leaders.If you have a passion to excel in an organization that requires the highest standards of professionalism and integrity, you should join the Polymershapes team.Description:Program CNC routerProgram CNC machines for a variety of part construction and geometrySelect cutting tools, tool paths, cutting speeds and feed rates appropriate for each jobAssist in the training of CNC operatorsWork with CNC operators to validate NC programsDevelop and implement best machining practices for honeycomb productAssist in all phases of the product life cycleSpecify and implement product and process improvementProduce drawings for internal and external productionPlan machining by studying work orders, production paperwork, materials, specifications, dimensions and tolerancesEvaluate programs for machine equipment by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs.Process each order per ordercustomer specificationsVerify accuracy of parts by adhering to inspection process set by managementMaintain specifications by observing and taking measurements using tape measures and micrometers; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processesComplete preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; notifying warehouse lead andor calling for repairsMaintain continuity among work shifts by documentingcommunicating actions, irregularities, and needsPosition Requirements:High school diploma or GED preferredCAD drawing experienceCNC router experienceAbility to calculate requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometryExperience with MS Office and basic math skillsAble to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basisFollow all safety proceduresEligibility Requirements:Must be 18 years or olderMust pass a background investigation as part of the selection processMust pass the drug test as part of the selection processMust have unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S.
