In this role, you will plan and direct sales activities for the organization regarding setting goals, directing sales teams, performing sales forecasts, as well as achieving revenue maximization. Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead, guide, and motivate sales teams to meet departmental quotas.Create sales campaigns and presentations for customers.Develop professional relationships with customers to enhance the likelihood of repeat sales. Find new markets to expand the sales territory. Work with the necessary internal personnel to enhance sales activities.Coordinate with the necessary departments to stay up to date on the latest product information such as specifications, modifications, new products, etc. Travel to meet the needs of customers. Participate in training as required.Analyze the market and develop strategies to generate additional business for specific target markets. Establish and monitor pricing based on competition and other market forces. Negotiate with customers to construct contracts at the best price possible. Construct sales forecasts. Establish budget for divisions annually and report accordingly.Education andor Experience RequirementsBachelor's Degree and 10+ years working experience in the related field. Successful candidate with wholesale and .com businesses. Must also have experience working directly with big box retailers such as Home Depot, Lowes, Wal-Mart, etc.Required Skills and AbilitiesThis position requires overall knowledge of all sales functions regarding gathering, analyzing, and using data to construct strategies and other activities. Must be able to establish professional relationships with customers in order to encourage repeat sales. Incumbents of this position must understand the link between sales and corporate strategy to ensure all objectives can be fulfilled. Must have great communication skills for coordination with internal executives, co-workers, and other outside clientele. Must be able to think creatively.Capable of handling many projects at once.Self-motivated and willing to take initiative.Strong computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office.
