Job Description:

The Houston office of Thompson Coe, LLP seeks an attorney with 2 to 5 years' experience in civil litigation to join the casualty section of the firm. Candidates should have a working knowledge of state and federal civil procedure, and excellent advocacy and writing skills. Litigation experience, including taking and defending depositions, drafting and arguing motions, and attending mediations is strongly preferred. Valid Texas BAR license required.The associate in this position will work on a variety of casualty cases, including wrongful death and survival actions, products liability, premises liability, dramshop, trucking and transportation, construction litigation, and other matters involving catastrophic personal injuries andor property damage. The associate will handle the day-to-day aspects of this work, including client meetings, reporting and investigation, and taking and attending depositions, hearings, mediations and arbitrations andor trials.
