We are looking for a Licensing Manager Character Licensed Apparel - temp to perm for a top fashion company in New York City. The individual should possess strong interpersonal relationship building skills, as well as strong networking abilities. Existing relationships with contacts at major entertainment studios A+. Strong entrepreneurial mindset is a must. The role entails organizing and managing a roster of licensors and brands to support the company in achieving consistent growth and long-term success. The Licensing ManagerDirector is responsible for satisfying the needs of our business partners ensuring efficient internal process and partner satisfaction are consistently met.Responsibilities:Work closely with CEO, COO, and cross functioning team members on seasonal and annual strategies that will maximize revenue and growthMethodical and meticulous business management of the day-to-day, current and growth licenses brandsResponsible for analyzing and reporting new business trends and growth strategiesDraft deal memos, negotiate with and on behalf of the CEOResearch, forecast and collaborate with CEO on vetting new licensors brandsWeekly virtual housekeeping meets with licensor and brand business partnersLiase closely with best in class licensors to provide business updates, sell-in reporting, and sell through reportingCultivate and manage strong internal and external relationshipsCross collaboration with internal, licensor and brand creative teamsAttend key meetings and trade showsAbility to build and grow the licensing department on the foundation in place Required Qualifications:7+ years' experience in a similar role within an apparel companyExcellent oral and written communication skillsSimparel - Exenta experience puter Skills; Microsoft Office, proficient working knowledge of Excel (pivot tables A+) (excel training available)Children's apparel character licensing experience A+Must be organized, detail-oriented and able to prioritize tasks and deadlines with a sense of urgencyThe ideal candidate is ambitious and driven, with an entrepreneurial spirit, can-do attitude and ability to work and thrive in a fast paced environmentIf you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.
