If you consider yourself a problem solver, team player, strong organizer, strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, and a great attitude where it's infectious, we'd like to meet you!If you are full of energy, hard-working, easy-going, innovative, and have a desire to be an integral part of our professional team, keep reading!Job Description:We take great pride in our engineering approach to the construction business, and project managers can expect to be involved with projects from the design phase (design-build and design-assist) all the way through the application of the design and completion of the project.As a project manager for Allison-Smith, you will be encouraged and trained to develop an entrepreneurial business approach to managing the electrical construction of a variety of projects.Project types include commercial, electrical, industrial, and mechanical engineering, modular solutions, technology, and telecommunications.Role and Responsibilities:The ideal candidate will oversee:all phases of electrical work, encompassing project acquisition (including layout and design, bidding, managing billing and material purchasing, constructability analysis, design review scheduling, value engineering, site logistics review, estimating strategy, costproposal development, negotiation, pre-fabrication planning),project preconstruction (team development, planning, procurement),project construction (scheduling, teamrelationship building, change management, issue resolution, cost projections, billing),project close-out (final documentation, owner training, contract reconciliation, final billing)Some project managers are licensed professional engineers. This gives unlicensed project managers the opportunity to enhance his or her knowledge through peer-to-peer interaction.
