A healthcare network in New York City is currently seeking an experienced, licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Night shift of their Emergency Room as a Nurse Manager.Responsibilities:The Nurse Manager (RN) - Emergency Room will:Manage all clinical administrative functions (patient care delivery, fiscal, material and human resources)Participate in performance improvementresearch activitiesCreate an environment in which autonomy is nurtured, encouraged and reflected in a highly competent workforce capable of providing quality careMaintain standards of the practice for nursing and actualize the vision, mission, values, and balanced scorecard performance measures for the Medical CenterPerform other duties, as needed Qualifications:5+ years of Clinical Nursing experienceBachelor's Degree in NursingNYS Registered Nurse (RN) licensePrevious experience in a Leadership andor Management roleSolid assessment, clinical, and documentation skillsPatient orientedGreat interpersonal skillsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Strong attention to detailHighly organizedDesired Skills:Master's Degree in Nursing andor a Health-related field
