The Foreclosure Specialist will be responsible for managing the foreclosure process, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies. This role involves coordinating activities with internal teams, legal professionals, and external vendors to facilitate the efficient and lawful completion of foreclosure proceedings.  Essential Duties:  1.      Foreclosure Process Management: ·        Oversee the end-to-end foreclosure process, from initiation to completion. ·        Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations governing foreclosure proceedings. 2.      Legal Documentation: ·        Prepare and review legal documents related to foreclosure, ensuring accuracy and completeness. ·        Coordinate with legal professionals to address any legal challenges that may arise during the foreclosure process. 3.      Communication: ·        Communicate with borrowers, legal representatives, and internal teams to provide updates on the status of foreclosure proceedings. ·        Respond to inquiries and address concerns related to the foreclosure process. 4.      Collaboration: ·        Collaborate with property preservation teams, title specialists, and other relevant departments to streamline processes and resolve issues efficiently. ·        Work closely with external vendors to facilitate property inspections, appraisals, and other foreclosure-related activities. 5.      Timeline Management: ·        Monitor and manage timelines for foreclosure activities to ensure timely and efficient completion. ·        Implement strategies to expedite the foreclosure process when necessary. 6.      Quality Assurance: ·        Implement quality control measures to ensure accuracy and compliance in all foreclosure-related documentation. ·        Conduct audits to verify the completeness and correctness of foreclosure files.  Qualifications, Experience & Knowledge ·        Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Real Estate, Business, or related discipline). ·        Proven experience in foreclosure management within the mortgage industry. ·        Strong knowledge of foreclosure laws, regulations, and procedures. ·        Excellent organizational and time-management skills. ·        Effective communication and negotiation skills. ·        Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.   Physical Requirements  ·        Stationary position; prolonged periods at a desk and working on the computer. ·        Occasional movement about inside the office to walk to offices and office machinery.  ·        Occasional lifting up to 10 pounds, must be able to push, pull, pull up, bend at the knees and waist, twist body at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, turn head-neck-shoulders as needed, grasp and hold tools and other items with hands, for either extended periods of time or many times throughout the workday. MSF is an equal opportunity employer.
