Job Description:

A renowned New Jersey-based services organization is looking to fill an immediate need with the addition of a new EEOAffirmative Action Officer to their team.***This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite a few days a week.***Responsibilities:Assists in developing, implementing, and monitoring Affirmative Action Program for submission to federal agencies to ensure agency compliance with employment practices.Assesses and analyzes employment data integrity, including workforce reports, employment practice data for hiring, promotions, training, disciplines, and terminations, workforce training numbers, and outreach initiatives.Creates employment practice reports through Excel via workforce reports that display employee EEO data for federal and state reporting. This also includes data involving federal EEO-4 job categories and various occupational codes.Assesses employment practice data to determine if there is a potential adverse impact on a protected category or status.Creates, monitors, and modifies department document library for all departmental forms and templates for staff use throughout the lifespan of the EEO internal investigation process.Collaborates with Human Resources and other internal stakeholders to guide all employment practices, including but not limited to recruitment, hiring, promotion, discipline, termination, compensation, and training.Serves as delegate for all hiring and promotions concurrences.Serves as the Office of EEOAA delegate for external outreach initiatives.Manages and monitors internal training for all employees on an automated learning system and recommends and coordinates in-person training sessions, where appropriate.Conducts new hire orientation training sessions in conjunction with Candidate Experience on Non-Discrimination policies.Creates and modifies training programs where appropriate.Manages and tracks internal site visits through the EEOAA Coordinator and EEOAA Investigators.Guides, trains, and assigns the EEOAA Coordinator in the EEO intake process and other components of EEO internal investigations when needed.Assists the Senior Director, EEOAA Compliance and Training, in ensuring sub-recipients and contractors receiving federal funds to comply with federal EEO Program requirements.Conducts site visits to various company facilities; and delivers training and presentations on EEO Policy, procedures, and best practices.Performs other duties, as assigned.Education, Experience, and Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts, Business Administration, or closely related field from a US Department of Education accredited college or universityAt least two (2) years of experience in an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action setting (workedworking in an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action department within the transportationservice industry, governmentquasi-government or public sector) or comparable civil rights environment required.Knowledge and Skills:Must have experience investigating and resolving complaints of discrimination arising from federal and state statutes.Must have experience writing investigative reports and rationales for decisions.Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication and conflict resolution skills.Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook programs is required.Corporate training and HR experience are desired.
