LaSalle Network is currently partnering with a client that specializes in managed IT Services that is searching for a Help Desk Technician to join their team long term. This opportunity is contract to hire and located in New Orleans, LA. Help Desk Technician Responsibilities:Provide first-level contact and problem resolution for all users with hardware, software, and application problemsResolve user-reported problems using available tools and following procedures and policies for the handling of support casesSupport and maintain office technological equipment, including but not limited to audiovisual systems, conference devices, and interactive setupsTroubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely and accurate manner, providing end user training and support where requiredCoordinate with corporate IT staff, providing on-ground support and feedback to ensure that corporate IT directives are implemented effectivelyMaintain documentation of local IT processes, systems, and procedures Help Desk Technician Requirements:Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldExperience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on IT support experience in an office environmentMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the futureProof of eligibility to work in the United States will be required as part of the hiring process If you have the experience listed above, possess a great attitude and are looking for a long-term opportunity with a stable and established employer, this is the role for you!
