Senior Director, Antibody Bioconjugate Discovery - Boston, MA - Permanent Proclinical Staffing is seeking a Senior Director, of Antibody Bioconjugate Discovery to join an innovative biotech developing next generation neurogenetic medicines. This is a permanent role located in Boston, MA.Primary Responsibilities:In this role, you will oversee all aspects of antibody and antibody bioconjugate technology development and drug discovery to develop next generation CNS therapeutics.Skills & Requirements:PhD in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical biology, or a related field with 10+ years of industry experienceDemonstrated leadership and management experience with a track record of leading teams and projects to successful endpointsDeep expertise in antibodynanobody generation utilizing a wide range of technologies such as hybridoma, phage display, single B-cell screening, etc.Demonstrated experience developing antibody bioconjugates, bispecific and multi-specific antibody formats for receptor-drive tissue targetingFamiliarity with performing develop abilitymanufacturability assessments for selection and optimization of antibodies and antibody formatsExperience using bioinformatics tools for sequence and structure analysisProven leadership skills with mentoring and leading teams in therapeutic antibody developmentAbility to work collaboratively in a high-paced project team environment, meet deadlines, and prioritize work across multiple projectsStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience in CNS delivery strongly preferredThe Senior Director will:Lead efforts in antibodynanobody development and engineering, including bispecific, single domain, and multi-domain antibodies for non-viral CNS-penetrant therapeutic programsUtilize multiple strategies for antibody discovery such as hybridoma screening, B-cell screening, phage display to select and optimize top antibody candidates for affinity, transcytosis and other propertiesDesign and execute protein engineering strategies to deliver developable biologics formats by applying molecular biology, structure-guided, computational, combinatorialdisplay approachesLead and mentor an antibody engineering and molecular biology team of scientists responsible for designing, generating, and characterizing antibody-based therapeuticsLead technology development in antibody engineering and contribute to broadening Voyager's intellectual property portfolioHire, manage and develop a team of scientistsresearch associates fostering an environment of creativity, a strong work ethic and teamworkDevelop and manage operating budgetIf you are having difficulty in applying or if you have any questions, please contact Max Robinson at (+1) 857-362-9542 or is a specialist employment agency and recruitment business, providing job opportunities within major pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device companies.Proclinical Staffing is an equal opportunity DSCIC
