Job Description:

Job Summary The Help Desk Manager will maintain all peripheral computer equipment, such as printers, monitors, scanners, copy machines within the offices and provide recommendations for hardware and software applications. The Help Desk Manager will act as an initial contact for IT-related issues and provide technical support to all LGP offices. Troubleshoot problems to resolve on first contact and escalate issues to appropriate support groups when necessary. Follow-up on open andor pending issues. Major Duties and ResponsibilitiesServe as primary contact to support internal company, end users and IT operations.Troubleshoot, analyze, resolve, and accurately documents various technical problems and resolutions (i.e., software, hardware, and company specific applications) Administration of Microsoft Exchange 365 Provide IT support for corporate environment - maintaining hardware, software inventories. Performs hands-on software and hardware fixes at the desktop level andor via remote control utilities. Performs other duties as required, including the duties of positions at different levels (Ex. Help Desk Technician). Tests software to ensure compatibility with the current operating environment and equipment capability. Assists with creating and managing user accounts, security applications, and workstation configurations. Provides ongoing support, system enhancementsupgrades and bug fixes including recommended operating system updates and security patches on all PC equipment. Supports Security Standards (anti-virusanti-spamfirewall patching). Answers calls and resolves tickets during after-hours call rotation. Install and configure hardware and software. Respond to tickets. Record, track, and document the help desk request problem solving process including actions taken through to the final resolution. Respond in a timely manner to requests and issues. Repair and replace equipment as needed. Assist in AV setups as needed for meetings. Assist new hire training for basic IT needs.Set up new workstations for users (deploying equipment, checking over account setups). Ability to work in Active Directory Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords. Perform all other duties as required. Ability to lift and carry computer components up to 50 pounds.Education and ExperienceAssociate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2 years' experience or 5 years' experience without a degree.At least 2 years of proven experience in a network administrator role including design and installation of Windows servers. Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure.Experience with switches, firewalls, Internet VPN's remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.Knowledge of PON network, desirable.
