Job Description:

As a Technical Specialist III, your primary role is to deploy technological solutions that address business challenges effectively. You'll be tasked with devising comprehensive schedules for analyzing, implementing, and testing these technologies. Additionally, you'll handle escalations, Infra & NOC alerts, serving as a vital link between the Engineering and Service Desk teams to ensure seamless coordination and knowledge transfer.Your responsibilities extend to drafting change request form submissions and diligently monitoring and managing the escalation board. Keeping abreast of industry best practices is essential, and you'll be expected to continually update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while driving innovation within the division to optimize efficiency and elevate service standards.RequirementsBachelor's degree or equivalent educational experience5-7 years' experience managing technology infrastructure and supporting IT business processes, including but not limited to networking, telecom, data center, server refresh, client side rollouts, etc.Leverage PowerShell, Azure CLI, or other automation tools to automate provisioning, deployment, and monitoring processesStrong understanding of Azure architecture, components, and services, including VMs, networking, storage, and securityHands-on experience with Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Azure Active Directory, Azure Virtual Network, and other Azure management toolsAzure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect) preferredExperience with other cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) is a plusAbility to develop, document, and deliver client designarchitecture and configurationsAbility to communicate strategies and best practices during design and implementationFundamental knowledge of project methodologies requiredExperience with implementation of large-scale multi-site deployments preferredWorking knowledge of Enterprise Architecture frameworks and methodologies e.g., TOGAF, Zachman frameworkITIL practitioner preferred, or someone who understands the process and can orchestrate the change to help a company adopt the ITIL practiceDemonstrated abilities to prepare documentation and training materials and conduct user trainingsAbility to write clear and thorough technical documentationScheduled night and weekend work or on-call duty will be requiredWilling to travelResponsibilitiesAnalyzing MRE and Client IT system and infrastructureDiagnosing IT system problems, inefficiencies, and weaknesses; recommendationsPlanning a timeline for completion of projects assignedUnderstanding a client's business needsImplementing a technological solution to meet business needsCommunicate, be the bridge between Service Desk and Engineer teamsSubmitting change request forms to management Collaborating with the technical in-house team to ensure familiarity with technologyTraining Service Desk staff on client best practicesMonitoring the success of IT solutions and teamsAbility to engage in project management, systems implementation, and support skills by helping clients with their systems, networks and other technology solutions and implementationsCoordinate allocation of technical team resources to meet deployment and other support objectivesDevelop and deliver related documentation such as SOP's, HLD's or BOM's, technical knowledge base articlesDemonstrated experience in consulting role of a technical organization or consultancy with similar responsibilitiesCurrently holds technical certifications or have strong experience with the following: Microsoft AzureDaily time entry and updates of service tickets within ITSM system, ConnectWiseRegularly update and audit central documentation repository
