Join TotalEnergies Renewables USA, LLC as a Project Development Analyst with our Distributed Generation team in Boston, MA. This is a new addition to our team as we are strengthening our presence in renewable energies. To contribute to TotalEnergies, (TTE) ambitions in the energy transition and renewable energies (35GW of renewable energy capacity by 2025, and 100GW by 2030). TotalEnergies Renewables is investing rapidly into solar and wind energy, with the objective to produce affordable, more reliable, cleaner and accessible energy to as many people as possible. In the US, TTE Renewables has 25GW of renewable wind & solar portfolio.ACTIVITIES:Develop solar and storage projects, from initial lead through booking, for large customers, including Fortune 500 companies, institutional customers, and all levels of government.Analyze customer goals, site conditions, and utility data in order to evaluate the feasibility of a solar and or storage system.Utilize powerful design software (Helioscope, Aurora, PVSim, PVSyst, Energy Toolbase) to determine optimal product selection, design, and sizingResearch policy, incentives, construction code, taxes, etc. for various marketsConduct financial modeling to creatively structure customer offerings (cash sale, lease, PPA, etc.) in order to maximize the customer value propositionValue-engineer (optimize costs for) customer offeringsData AnalyticsCommunicate daily with internal teams to advance customer offerings toward contract executionResearch available incentives to maximize positive impact to project bottom linesManage time and shifting priorities among active opportunitiesCreative deal structuring, new financing optionsPolicy support for new marketsBusiness Development and customer outreachProcess improvement and templates integral to the Commercial team's successInvolvement in contract and execution-side for post-award deals INTERNATIONAL CONSIDERATION:TotalEnergies regrets that it is unable to sponsor employment Visas or consider individuals on time-limited visa status for this position.
