Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)Join a team that's as passionate about patient care as you are! We are looking for LVNs in the Amarillo area specializing in wound care to serve the needs of our home health patients. This position is available during the day from 7:30 a - 5:30 p for approximately 20-25 visitsweek, with the possibility of adding more visits. Create your own flexible Schedule and get Same-Day Pay. Wound care experience is a requirement for this position.Our continued growth is a testament to our commitment to our Caregivers and patients alike!Responsibilities:Participate in the development and revisions of patient specific comprehensive assessments and care plansPatient and family education related to their disease process and care needsCollaboration with your patient's care teams such as the physician, your supervisor, co-workers, and other medical providers associated with your patientParticipate in NurseCore's education programs as it relates to your patient populationMentoring and educating co-workersRecord and report changes in patients' conditionUse effective relationship management techniques in communicating with the patients' family or friends to provide mentoring, advice, comfort, and release instructionsCommunicate updates of medical condition to Physician and Clinical DirectorAll other duties as assignedQualifications:­Current LVN licensure with the State Board of Nursing in the State of Texas1-year experience as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in the last 3 years in a supervised setting OR qualify for and complete our Nurse Residency ProgramCurrent CPR in compliance with the American Heart Association or American Red Cross live demonstration standardsNegative TBPPD or Chest X-Ray within the last 12 monthsSuccessful completion of the skills assessment specific to the areas of experienceWho We Are At NurseCoreNurseCore is more than an agency, we're a family.
